Western Michigan University students bashed a car painted in rival Central Michigan University’s colors a few days before the WMU-CMU football game on Sept. 28. WMU fans got hyped up for the game by paying $3 to have a turn at smashing a Ford Taurus with a hammer or a baseball bat. WMU marching band fraternity members, Kappa Kappa Psi, hosted the event that has been going on the last six years each time the game is in Kalamazoo. They raised $800 to support the efforts to buy the band new speakers for practice.
