Americans are expected to spend a record high of over $10 billion dollars this year on halloween, over $2 billion more than last year. The majority of halloween spending goes toward costumes, which are expected to make up around $3.3 billion dollars of this year’s spending, followed by decoration spending, which is expected to be around $3.2 billion. Candy spending is expected to be around $3 billion as well.
