Combating Mental Health Stigmas in Kalamazoo

Lincoln Public School displays signs that notify the community that this is a drug-free zone for the safety of the students, and betterment of the community.
Lincoln Elementary School is part of the Kalamazoo Public Schools. KPS graduates the Kalamazoo receive the Kalamazoo Promise, which provides up to 100% tuition for post-secondary education for students who complete all 12 grades. Many Kalamazoo Public School students attend WMU.

A future youth center is in the works to be built on North Burdick Street in a predominantly black neighborhood near a public elementary school in Kalamazoo.
