Kate Whitton, a junior studying criminal justice at Western Michigan University, has been more influenced by her late aunt’s life than she could have imagined. Whitton’s aunt, Marcia Reidy, passed away years ago. She helped raise Kate and her brother, as they were both adopted. After Aunt Marcia passed away, Kate’s life focus shifted toward becoming a free-spirited person, just like her aunt.
